To setup your outlook exchange email address with a mail application such as Thunderbird Mail, use the following instructions.

Step 1: Download Thunderbird Mail from this link https://www.thunderbird.net/en-CA/

Step 2: Run the setup file by clicking the download arrow and then clicking the application and following the prompts to complete

Step 3: Once complete, launch the application by double clicking the icon on your desktop

Step 4: Once the application opens, you may be prompted to create an account, click cancel or the X in the top right hand corner of the account creation prompt. You will need to add a feature to Thunderbird by clicking the hamburger menu on the top right hand side of your screen as shown, and then clicking Add-Ons and Themes

Step 5: In the search bar, type in: Owl and hit the Enter key on your keyboard. A new tab will appear and give you two options to pick from. Select the one at the top as shown below

When you clock the Green Button, a pop up will appear in the top right hand corner asking for permission to Add add the Extension (It can take up to 15-30 seconds to download and appear). Click Add

Allow the extension to process. Once completed, you will be back at the below screen, which lets you know the extension has successfully installed

Step 6: Click on the Wrench icon and then click Add new account manually...

Step 7: Enter the information as shown on the below screen, using your login information. Please take note of the username format as it needs to be: dockside\username (not your email address)
Enter the following URL in the Webmail Page Box: https://mail.docksiderealty.ca/owa - Then click create account.

Step 8: Allow your mailbox, contacts and calendar to sync. Depending on the size of your account, it may take up to an hour to fully synchronize with the server. Once completed, any changes you make in mail, contacts, and calendar will change globally on the server. If you make a change in outlook on the web, it will change on Thunderbird and your devices if you have setup Outlook for iPhone/Android
